Guild Wars 2 Jeweler Introduction

Please Please Please be aware that this crafts shopping list can swing from 2 - 6 tier mats. I can guide you in what to make and roughly how much, but is not a set amount. I've been leveling this side by side with 2 guildies and BOTH are having extremely different results. - Zpyr0 9/14/12
 
For this craft I HIGHLY recommended the "Crafting Exp Boost"
 
Jeweler is a unique craft, but very similair to Artificer and potions. You will just combine the same "sets" over and over. The whole process will look like this:
Craft Refinements  (Example: 21x Setting, 9x Chain, 6x Hook, 6x Band, 6x Filigree)
Combine Refinements + Low End Tier Gems = Low End Discoveries
Combine Refinements + High End Tier Gems = High End Discoveries
Combine Filigree + Tier Gem = Adorned Gem
Combine Adorned Gem (upgraded) + Amulet, Ring, Earring = Master Discoveries
However you will only be crafting Master Earrings
 
So that is the simplicity of this craft. The expense however >.> its a little pricey if you do not have any of the materials. But you will make it all back 10 folds once you are make level crafting the most sought after accessories.
 
WHERE TO FIND GOLD ORE:
There are 2 REALLY good zones that I would bounce back and forth from (if you know of others, let me know! share the wealth! lol)
Blood Tide Coast 65-70 (Directly South of Lion's Arch) there is a "Fort" if you follow the road south. All around that area is a decent amount
BlazeRidge Steppes 40-50 (East of Plains of Ashford and far east from Black Citadel) The whole zone is littered with Gold Ore. I was leveling on my thief who has a ton of speed abilities and gather 200 ore in about 2 hours. This place is AMAZING!
 
So once again, this guide is a guide and not a 100% perfect walkthrough, because no ones leveling experience will be the same. Getting a Crit while crafting a Master

+10 Pearl, Malachite Pebble, Tiger's Eye Pebble gems of your choice.
  • These are used to get from 40ish - 50. They are not Discovery Crafts, because there are none. So use what ever you have or is cheapest on the Trading Post.

 NOTE: 
This is where you have to use Malachite Pebble[s], Pearl[s] and/or Tiger's Eye Pebble[s] of your choosing with (1) Hook + (1) Setting. You will need to craft these earrings until you reach level 50. You will find the recipes in your Crafting List under Earring, because they are already Discovered. It does not matter what gem combinations are used, only that you reach levle 50.
 
Example:
5* Malachite Pebble[s] + Hook[s] + Setting[s]
3* Tiger's Eye Pebble[s] + Hook[s] + Setting[s]
2* Pearl[s] + Hook[s] + Setting[s]
 
You should be LEVEL 50+

You Should Be LEVEL 75+
 NOTE: 
If you are not continue combining Adorned Jewels with (1) Hook + (1) Setting to make master earrings until you are 75+
You will have extra materials, you will have excess adorned jewels. That is ok. You can either salvage, sell or craft them.
